It'll likely be long gone by the time anybody reads this, but I was out walking late tonight (1am) and there was a HUGE bull snake in the parking lot over by Building 600, going under the cars. Probably about 3 ft long. Almost looks like a rattlesnake. I'm not a snake expert, but I think it was a bull snake based on my Google search. They are not venomous, but I've never seen a snake that big anywhere around here, so everybody might just want to be a little careful or check under your car when you're out there. I was out walking in flip-flops, so now I have the heebie-jeebies.

CAT UPDATE: The orange cat by the pool and her three babies have all been successfully trapped! They will be fixed next weekend and adopted out by the rescue organization. They are all safe now, albeit very suspicious of us humans. :)

Hi everyone, update on the kittens… a very reputable rescue called Feral LifeGuards is trapping them so they can be fixed and adopted! If you see the trap set up, please don’t be alarmed, it’s for them and their mom. There is a motion-activated camera but it is pointed downwards and away from any balconies and windows. I have also notified the front office so they are aware. Thanks everyone for caring about these little babies :) if you want a kitten, let me know ??

I'm pretty sure people have posted about it before, but does that orange cat that wanders around the complex belong to anybody? I feel bad for it with it being so hot outside. I usually see it going around the dumpsters, but I don't know if it belongs to somebody???

Our kayak was found across the river at Blue Hole yesterday. When we retrieved ours there was a yellow one next to it. The yellow kayak appears to still be there this morning but has been placed upside down to keep from floating away. You may want to check on your kayak!

Hello,
While we were walking on the San Gabriel River, we discovered a special find—a Class Ring from the year 1969, belonging to Bridge City High School. If this ring belongs to you or someone you know, please don’t hesitate to reach out as it is in my possession. Would be happy to return it to its rightful owner.
Best regards,
